Tatyana

My full name is Tatyana Gavrilenko. In this class please call me Tanya. My native country is Russia. My native language is Russian. I can also speak English. There are 3 people in my family: husband Gennadiy, daughter Rimma and me. My favorite foods are pelmeny, potatoes, cherries, and apples. I like reading books about animals. I like watching TV about interesting family movies and animals. I came to the United States in 2009 because my family (mom, sisters and brothers) lives here. What I like about living in the U.S. is good medical care for me. What I don’t like about living here is the very cold winter (not winter 2011-2012 year). In my native country, I was a Passport Table worker. In the U.S., I don’t have a job. I started coming to ESL classes in 2009. My purpose for coming to school is to learn how to speak, write, and read in English.
