My name is Pa Ya. In this class please me Pa. My native country is Laos. My native language is Hmong. I can also speak English. There are 2 people in my family: my husband and me. My favorite food is vegetable and fish. I like reading books about comedy. I like watching comedy. I came to the United States in 2008 because I got married. What I like about living in the U.S. is good schools and good jobs. What I don’t like about living here is the winter. In my native country, I was a student. In the U.S., I don’t have a job. I started coming to school in 2011. My purpose for coming to school is I want to learn how to speak English and get my GED.
