My full name is Elda Amarilis Gonzalez. In this class please call me Elda. My native language is Spanish. There are 4 people in my family: my husband and my 2 beautiful daughters. My favorite food is paella. I like reading books about romance. I like watching TV about history. I came to the United States in December 1998 because we came to visit my sister-in-law. What I like about living in the U.S. is safety and there are many opportunities. What I don’t like about living here is the weather. In my native country I was a homemaker. In the U.S. , I do have a job. I starter coming to ESL classes on September 12, 2011. My purposes for coming to school is to graduated from GED.
