My name is Hector. I came from Santo Domingo. My country is next to Haiti and Puerto Rico. Santo Domingo has about 12 million people. When we have free time, we like to play dominoes, listen to music and cook. The weather in my country is tropical. We have nIce temperature; it is 80° to 85°. Sometimes it rains a lot. You can visit Santo Domingo anytime; it is great weather in my country. We have different typical food; you can get rice, mangu, tostones, chicken and sancocho. We have different typical jobs: doctor, lawyer, construction worker, pharmacist, and teacher. My country has a little problem; no jobs and medicine. What is better in my country than in U.S. is you can get a house; it is not hard to pay rent. Something that is better in the U.S. is making money and getting jobs. I miss many things from my country, for example my family and friends. My country is very interesting; we have many things: baseball, and golf. Every year we have a canaval festival.

The weather is nice. If you come to Mexico, I think you should visit Acapulco. It is near Michoacán, which is my City. Acapulco is the largest beach. It has many stores, many restaurants and many buildings. In Acapulco there are many people of different nationalities. I think you will have of fun if you visit Acapulco.

The best time to visit my country is summer because of nice weather. Typical foods in my country are vegetables, rice, potatoes, and pork. One thing that is better in the U.S. than in my country is hospitals, schools, and freedom. What I miss most about my native country is my friend and my three sisters. One problem is that my country has no jobs. One thing that is better in my native country than in the U.S. is rice and fruit. One thing that is better in the U.S. than in my country is freedom. What I miss most about my native country are my parents. One interesting thing about my native country is that $100 U.S. is one million kip in Laos.

One thing that is better in my native country than in my country is the government, security, jobs, and schools. What I miss most about my native country is my family. One interesting thing about my native country is one dollar is 10 pesos. College is very expensive.

It is common for people to travel together as a family. If you visit Veracruz, you should go to Tajin. It is located in Papantla; Veracruz. Tajin is an Archaeology Zone. It’s very important to Mexican Culture. There are the ruins, the beautiful pyramid and the museum. You can eat good food. There are many stores where you can buy souvenirs, to enjoy the nature and different culture and entertainment. I think you will have lots of fun if you go to Tajin, Veracruz.
