Winter

Winter in My Country

In Bosnia, winter begins in the month of December and finishes in the month of February. Winter weather in my country is very similar to Minnesota. Average temperature is 0/32c. A popular sport in Bosnia is skiing. In Bosnia, 80% of the country has snow and 20% no snow because it is close to Adriatic Sea. Bosnia has 20 mountains and places for winter activities. When I was younger, I used to enjoy playing soccer, building snowmen, and making snow angels. I like winter in Bosnia better than winter in Minnesota.

Winter Break

On December 17, 2010, we had our last day of school. Our winter break started. Yolanda saw a movie. Mai visited her family. Maria got money as a gift. Mehmed didn’t celebrate Christmas, he made a snowperson. Lilian cooked lots of food. Gisma went to a restaurant. Agnes likes winter. Liubovi doesn’t like winter. Aliaksandr likes to eat pizza. Leyla gave money as a gift. Lon stayed at home a lot and went last-minute shopping. Tina visited her friends. Viktar played snowballs with children. We came back to school on January 3, 2011, after our two week winter break. On December 17, 2010, we had our last day of school. Our winter break started. Yolanda saw a movie. Mai visited her family.
