Childhood Ambition
When I was growing up I wanted to be a childhood assistant. Right now I not work in the kindergarten. I think in the future I will be work a childcare assistance.
I liked play with children very much. When I played with children, they laughed and smiled every time. I think children like play too much.
I liked take care of children. I have two nieces and sometimes I took care of them and helped to them. I think every child will be happy, when someone take care of them and help to them.
When children are very happy I am happy too. They are will be happy when they play, have fun and laughing. I very like when children are very happy.
I still in my childhood ambition. I like help to children, take care of them and play with them. They are very like, when someone play with them.

Childhood Dreams
I would like to tell you what I wanted to be when I was a child. When I was growing up I wanted to be a librarian, a music school’s teacher and the accountant. Let me tell you about each of my wishes.
First I wanted to be a librarian. There is a lot of libraries everywhere in my country, Russia. Every cities and schools have the libraries. Pupils and other people came to the library took books on different subjects. I was loved a large clean room with big windows in it. There are a lot of shelves full of books. I was loved to go to the library to read book, and also saw now worked librarians. I imagined myself a librarian.
Then as I was growing, I wanted to be a teacher at a music school, because U myself studied in the local music school. There was a lot of different musical instruments. I loved to see the work of teachers and wanted to be as teacher of accordion took as my teacher-Alexandr Horunjy.
Finally I wanted to be the accountant. My main reason for this was to fill out forms that I loved to write, the digits to account, I liked to work with papers.
I did not become any of those people. All my plans failed. I became teeth technician. I was worked in the dental office. I had my own table with a lot of different instrument. By contents of my job was reparation of crowns and dentures for people. I had worked with wonderful doctors, people, and course children proud their Mom.

Dinner Party in Guatemala
I would like to tell you how we entertain guests in my country. In Guatemala, we have different cultures. In my state lived many people Indians, they speaking different languages, is not Spanish, the name is Kakchikel. In my family my Grandfather’s is the same people. For dinner party is depend the occasion, in Christmas the people cooked tamales for drink ponche. Ponche is sun drink make with different fruits, it is very delicious. The table is decorated with sunflowers. For Christmas, the guests come and eat, and pray to God. The other important thing is after might night, the families cooked delicious soup the name is Kakik, all families eat it. I miss this time in my country.

Voting is your Right and Responsibility
Why does voting matter? Why is it important? Let me tell you how I feel about it.
When I was 18 years old, I first time voted. But in Vietnam my country from 1975 was communist country, not freedom, voting was only formal, not good for people in nation.
I’m 52 years old; I came to U.S near 5 year ago and not yet citizen. I think if I become a citizen, I will go to vote, because voting very important for any nation love freedom.
I would like to tell everybody, if you lived in a communist nation you would feel how important freedom and voting are.

Fall Break
Let me tell you about my fall break last week.
We went to visit my brother, my sister-in-law and my niece. They are living in Worthington of Minnesota 3 hours drive from Blaine, Minnesota.
On the first time after they moved from Minneapolis we never went to visit them so they are very happy. We were very happy too.
Also we like the area around their apartment. It was very green and quiet. I really enjoyed being there.

Nurse
In my country when the people are sick, they go to the hospital. The first person that they speak before the doctor is a nurse. This job is highly respected because the people talk to them with respect. The nurse helps the doctor, takes your temperature and asks you about how you feel. If you want to be a nurse you need to go to the school and learn many topics about the human body. I think that it is very hard to study, but the nurses are very happy to learn a lot of topics about how to help other people. The salary isn’t much but is good. My mom is a nurse and I think that she is the best nurse that I know. I wouldn’t like to be a nurse but I think that this job is very important in the community, because they help other people to feel better.

My Fall Break
I would like to tell you about my fall break. I walked in the park, I read books in English language, and I spoke English with my friends.
Every evening I walked with my friendly friends in the small park. That nice park is not far away from my apartment. In the park we saw beautiful birds.
On the last week every afternoon I read some interesting books in English language. I borrowed those books from the library. Some friends listened to how I could read.
I spoke English with my neighbors and friends. I tried to speak English well. My nice neighbors and friends were happy when I spoke English with them.
I really liked my fall break. I did my things every day. I think I would have sometimes free time for my things.

I would like to tell you about my fall break. I liked this time, because the weather was nice, and I had a lot of free time. I did not things. I was reading a book, I was listening to music, and playing with my children.
On Sunday morning I got up at eight o’clock and went to the park with my children. We played soccer and other games, we rode the bikes.
Usually I don’t have free time for reading, but on Sunday I had. I could read the Bible. I got many advices from the Bible for my life.
In the evening I was listening to music. Because when I am listening I am quit and I feel well. My favorite songs are about God.
I really enjoyed this little break. I am so glad. It was very relaxing. I am looking forward to the next break.

FALL BREAK
I would like to share how I spent my fall break. I went shopping, walking and I was watching TV.
On Saturday morning I got up at 7:30 and made some breakfast for my family. I made some pan cakes and scrambled eggs. After having our breakfast my son and I went shopping at Wal-Mart and at Target.
The weather was very nice during the week. We used to go to the park for an evening walk and we enjoyed walking.
During the night time I watched TV, because I didn’t have to go to the class next day. I really enjoyed watching different shows.
Finally my fall break was past really quickly. I enjoyed my fall break very much. I wish this break could come every other month.

The doctor is important for many people. They help sick people.
The doctors work very hard, because they stay long time at a hospital for a job. They take care of sick people and check them up. When the sick people get well soon, doctors feel very good. The doctor is very happy and successful.

My Fall Break

Every day when I finish cleaning the house, I walked 40 minutes in the gym, the exercise is very important for my health. After I cooked the dinner I enjoyed listening to music.
The days in the break I needed to clean the house I cooked different food, I cooked Chinese food, baked cookies and Italian food, I found the recipes in internet.
At night at 8:00 pm, I watched TV. with my husband the favorite series, at 10p.m.m we went to my bed I was reading the book best seller one hour.
The finish week, my routine is different, I went with my family a walked around the lake maybe in the Lake Calhoun to walked, after maybe went to eat at a restaurant.
Any times my husband and me, the Sunday all the day watch TV. in pants, and eating pizza and sandwiches. I did not cook, for me it was relaxing.

While every day fall break, I taught my youngest daughter to read in our native language. Her name is Nelli, and she is five years old.
I really enjoyed my short break. I did many important things for my family, which made me happy. I am glad when my children are smiling and happy!

About Me
My name is Valeriu Bodrug. There are five people in my family.My wife Tabita and I and three children. The children s names are Mikhael,Stefan and Dana.Tabita and I go tu school to study English.Dana and Stefan go to High school.Mikhael works.In my free time I like to watch TV :the news,movies and sports.I also like to check and fix the car.My wife and daugther like to cook ,clean the house in their free time. The sons enjoy playing soccer or visiting their friends.Sometimes my family goes to “Northtown Mall”or” Mall of America”to shop for clothes.On weekends we sometimes go to downtown Minneapolis with our friends to visit the historic places.
