Dinner Party in Guatemala

I would like to tell you how we entertain guests in my country. In Guatemala, we have different cultures. In my state lived many people Indians, they speaking different languages, is not Spanish, the name is Kakchikel. In my family my Grandfather’s is the same people. For dinner party is depend the occasion, in Christmas the people cooked tamales for drink ponche. Ponche is sun drink make with different fruits, it is very delicious. The table is decorated with sunflowers. For Christmas, the guests come and eat, and pray to God. The other important thing is after might night, the families cooked delicious soup the name is Kakik, all families eat it. I miss this time in my country.
