IN THE MORNING I USUALLY HAVE A COFFEE AND DONUT FOR BREAKFAST, BUT I DON’T HAVE PIZZA . I GO TO WORK IN THE DAY , AND I LIKE IT VERY MUCH.
I LOVE MEXICAN FOOD, AND ALSO LIKE ASIAN FOOD ,BUT I DON’T LIKE MCDONALDS . I USUALLY HAVE A BIG MEAL IN THE EVENING. IN A BAR OR CAFÉ I USUALLY DRINK A SODA ,AND IN A RESTAURANT I USUALLY HAVE A CALUPAS FROM TACO BELL, IT IS MY FAVORITE !!!!!
I LIVE ALONE IN A SMALL FLAT HOUSE. IN THE EVENING I USUALLY WACHT TV OR USE THE COMPUTER .
I LIKE HIP HOP MUSIC A LOT,BUT I DON’T LIKE LISTENING TO ROCK, AT THE WEEKEND I GO TO NIGHT CLUB , BUT I DON’T USUALLY GO TO WORK.

I would like to tell you where I came from. My name is Ka and I came from Thailand. In Thailand I lived in a small village in the Mideast. I lived in Thailand but my language is Hmong.
When I lived in Thailand my job was to make Hmong clothes. I come to the United States because I’m a refugee. My time here is for learning English. I need to learn English to help me do anything like I do when lived in Thailand.
I like this school because it’s helping me to learn everything in America. In Thailand I never went to school. Here I go everyday. It makes me feel better then that time. Surely I hope my English will get better and better.

I am Abuya Obo. I am from Ethiopia. I worked at the office as an office assistant. I speak Anyuak and Amaric languages.
I moved to Minnesota because my husband was here before me. I like Minnesota because I do not know about another state. I just stayed only in Minnesota.
When I was in my country I did not drive a car and there is nothing to drive. Everybody walks by foot. Driving the car is something new and good for me
I want to attend school and learn something and getting better. Studying English is good for everything in the U.S.A. It is good for communication and to know more words, reading, writing and speaking. The school helped a lot. I learn different English pronunciation and more.

My Childhood
I lived in a small town with my family in a small house. My dad and my mom worked on the farm.Most of the time my dad worked too much.
It was very hard work. I remember when I was a littie girl I liked playing with my friends all day. Spending my free time with them was fun.
I also helped my mom around the house, but I liked playing most of the time instead. When I went outside instead of doing my chores, I would Jump rope or play dolls with my friends. My childhood was a lot of fun.

In my opinion, the ideal family size is six people; two parents and four children it’s very good to have two sons and two daughters. Women in Russia start having children in their late20’s and early 40’s.In my country, girls have children when they are 18 years old. I think that the ideal age to have children is 22years old, because they finish college and already have a job and make money. The role of mother is to raise children, take care of a house, cook meals clean house, read books for kids, and teach children how to be polite. The role of father is to make money, be around with children. Husband can help his wife with house work, for example vacuum floor, and wash dishes and other things. In Russia parenting style is to give choices, give freedom. The value of family is great. We like to be together and help each other in family, when children are small, parents give them choices, and when parents get old, and children give choices to their parents.

When I was child I was very happy, because my parents loved me and my sister. My family spent a lot of time together. My father was a serviceman therefore my family often moved to a new place. This was very interesting for my older sister and me. I had many new friends. Usually every summer we traveled to my grandmother. She lived in the Caucasus. My childhood was happy.
